Football Federation Victoria, in conjunction with Sports Education and Development Australia (SEDA) has created a program combining a passion for football with an educational pathway through the Sport & Recreation Industry. The program is designed for talented players wanting to pursue a career in football. It consists of specialised football training conducted by FFV approved coaches integrated with sport and recreation curriculum.

Students can complete their VCE, VCAL and certificates III and IV in Sport and Recreation leading to a Diploma of Sport (Development). Core curriculum involves theoretical and practical experience in sports administration, marketing, fitness, coaching, event/project management, literacy, numeracy and career planning.

Selection into the NTC Talented Player Program is determined by the FFV in conjunction with SEDA and is primarily based on football ability and educational background. As part of the selection process applicants may need to undertake further activities conducted by the FFV.

Location

The program will be based at Darebin in order to access FFV sporting facilities
