The Football Federation Vic Sports Development Program - Download Brochure

The Sports Development Program is a joint initiative between Football Federation Victoria, Sports Education and Development Australia , partner host schools, and Victoria University, specifically designed for young people interested in a career in Sport and Recreation or other like industries.

The program offers current year 10, 11 and 12 students the opportunity to complete their education within the Sport and Recreation industry whilst forging a pathway to meaningful employment or further study.

Am I eligible?

· Program is open to students aged 16 -19

· Selection is not dependant on sports skill

Where is it?

Programs will be based in sporting venues in all Football Federation Victoria metropolitan regions.

Curriculum Opportunities

PROGRAM	STUDENT INVOLVEMENT
MELBOURNE VICTORY 5-A-SIDE	Football clinics in conjunction with Melbourne Victory staff and players
FOOTBALL CLINICS	Football clinics in conjunction with FFV staff
SCHOOLS	Placement in Schools to assist staff with P.E. curriculum delivery
FUTSAL	Coaching of basic Futsal skills to school students
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS	Introductory clinics for people from diverse cultural backgrounds and people with disability
SPORTS TRAINER	Sports Medicine Australia Level 1 Course
FIRST AID	Australian 1^st Aid Level 1 Course
OPTUS SMALL SIDED FOOTBALL	Coaching and Coordinating of Small Sided Games at local clubs and schools
REFEREEING	Complete Level 5, Level 4 and Futsal Officiating Courses
COACH ED	Junior License and Futsal Coaching Courses
